Simon Everitt, Bakwena’s CEO, reflected on the company’s 20 th anniversary by saying “as the CEO of Bakwena, it is with a sense of pride that I look back on the project’s achievements over the last 20 years. Roads form the backbone of the South
African Economy and toll roads are an example of how private and government have collaborated to provide infrastructure which provides the economy with a much-needed boost. The Bakwena N1N4 route is part of the important Trans-Kalahari
Corridor, a regional development corridor, providing a coast-to-coast link from Walvis Bay in Namibia to Maputo in Mozambique”.
Bakwena has an incredible team of dedicated employees who have grown and thrived with the company over the years. We look forward to continuing this exciting journey. Bakwena remains committed to ensuring the N1N4 route continues to make a difference every km of the way” concludes Everitt.
