How to open a Mobility/Tag Account:
Opening a Mobility account is simple:
- Visit the SANRAL website and click on the Mobility Account tab
- Download the SANRAL Mobile App available on Android/IOS/Huawei
- At Self-Service Terminals (SST)
- SANRAL Customer Service Centres
Important information for existing SANRAL tag customers
All SANRAL tags can be utilised as a toll payment method at conventional/ boom-down toll plazas countrywide and for parking payments (if you have opted in for this service).
If you have not been using your SANRAL Account, you can re-activate your SANRAL Account by making a top-up to the Account. All e-toll fees/transactions that occurred before 11th of April 2024 at 23:59:59 hrs are ring-fenced and will not affect your current account. The available funds will not be used to settle transactions incurred prior to 11th of April 2024 at 23:59:59 hrs. Your SANRAL tag will remain active and working as long as the SANRAL Account has sufficient funds for the relevant toll and/or parking fee.For ease of reference, due to the current and planned Value Added Services that the SANRAL Account offers you, the Account will now be referred to as your SANRAL Mobility Account.
